What is Dincharya

Dincharya, typically referred to as the daily routine, is the most essential part of our lives. In Ayurveda, maintaining a disciplined routine is crucial for achieving a healthy mind and body. The three states of the body, known as Vata, Pitta, and Kapha, should be balanced to achieve a perfect, healthy mind, body, and soul. Acharya Manish Ji has explained in detail the methods and the benefits of having a disciplined Dincharya. In Ayurveda, the most valuable asset for any human being is good health, and Ayurvedic practices play a key role in achieving it.

Foundation of good health

Acharya Manish Ji's vision is to create a disease-free, Drug-free world for humanity. To achieve it, we need to start from the very beginning. Our day must be planned according to Ayurveda. Little mindful changes in our daily routine can lead us to a happy, healthy life. Acharya Ji says that starting the day right is the most critical part of Dincharya, and that’s how we proceed towards the goal of good health.

life-saving remedies

Starting the day with a glass of warm water and life-saving remedies.

Waking up early in the morning, between 4:30 am and 6 am, and drinking a glass of warm water in a squat position helps kick-start digestion. Acharya Manish Ji offers effective remedies for caring for our heart and liver. He recommends chewing a raw turmeric piece on an empty stomach to prevent cancer. Similarly, 10 to 12 kadi patta are chewed to keep hemoglobin in check and to improve liver health and a piece of ginger to improve heart health. With these remedies, the internal organs get activated, which helps bring a clean bowl. The body eliminates waste and toxins, and is ready for an active day.

Cleaning teeth with Daantun

In Ayurveda, daantun is recommended for clean, germ-free gums and teeth. Daantun is a natural and effective cleanser for maintaining oral health. Acharya Ji recommends using neem daantun from March to October, babool daantun from November to December, and Keekar daantun from January to February.

Heartful Diet

Mindful yoga and a heartful diet

Acharya ji emphasises practising Yoga in the open sunlight early morning. He says connecting with nature and sunlight adds valuable vitamins to our bodies and recharges our brains. Walking on green grass barefoot can help restart our body and recharge our organs.  pH-balanced diet is recommended for overall wellness. Eating mindfully in the morning helps keep us active and energised. Acharya Ji’s Plate 1 and Plate 2 diet is the ultimate choice for a vibrant, energetic morning.

Plan the afternoons and evenings

A pH-balanced diet in the afternoon is a great way to add nutrition to the body. It helps maintain weight and promotes overall health. A combination of seasonal fruits, salad, and millets is an excellent way to stay healthy and disease-free. Sitting in the Vajrasana position while eating meals can improve digestion and help alleviate gas and bloating.

Meal Timings

Meal timings

Acharya Ji advocates eating the last meal before sunset. He adds that this practice not only promotes good digestion but also builds up immunity. Not eating after sunset, typically from 8 pm to 10 am, is a type of fasting known as autophagy, which has been proven to enhance the body’s ability to heal itself. Acharya ji says, “Self-healing starts in an autophagy state”.
One can end the day with a breathing exercise or meditation, which helps achieve a peaceful sleep and recharge oneself for the next day.

The power of the circadian clock

According to Acharya Manish Ji, the body operates on a natural rhythm known as the circadian clock, a 24-hour internal cycle that regulates sleep, digestion, hormone levels, and overall energy levels. When aligned with natural light and daily routines, this clock helps boost immunity, enhance focus, balance mood, and support better metabolism. Disrupting it can lead to fatigue, stress, and chronic health issues. Respecting your circadian rhythm is the key to living in sync with nature and with yourself.

Vital replacements and
additions in Dincharya

According to Ayurveda, food derived from animals is considered harmful to health. Acharya Ji strongly advocates for adopting a plant-based diet. He suggests replacing dairy milk with almond, peanut, or coconut milk for better health and digestion. He recommends adding a mix of green juices, such as bitter guard, neem, coriander, curry leaves, basil leaves, spinach, aloe vera, and giloy, as well as red juices like pomegranate, beetroot, and carrot, to daily routines. These juices help strengthen the immune system and shield the body against diseases.
